Do you remember back what it was like to be an up and coming model? The world of modeling can seem very hard to break into. Every model starts off with a dream and the right intentions, but a bit of competition and harsh criticism can really shake some to the core. Though this may seem like enough to deter some from modeling, the strong will persevere. However there are some things that can make a big difference in the life of a model. Having a reliable source, somebody that they can trust, and some helpful tips can really help to make or break a model. Have you ever started thinking about what it would be like to offer your own tips to an up and coming model? If you haven’t, then you may want to put some serious thought into this.

This doesn’t have to be a formal thing, but it can be one that is very helpful to a model who needs help. You remember what it was like to struggle and feel like you’d never get the hang of it. So why not return the favor and pay it forward a bit? If you simply put out some tips to those in need of it, you can really make a difference in the life of a model that may look something like you once did. You can offer this through a modeling organization, through an agency, or you can even work directly with a model that is new to the scene for which you see could use some help.

There are also a number of forums and communities out there nowadays that can help young models. You can become a part of these and offer your expertise to those that could really benefit from it. Think about how great it would feel to share your own modeling experiences and somehow help somebody who is in a position that you once were. Not only that, but as you become a member of these communities, you will find that you build up your network. So as you do something that makes you feel better, you can even benefit yourself in the process.

It always helps to think back on your career and even document things along the way. Think back to the lessons that you’ve learned and the tips that you can share. Modeling tips don’t have to be formal; they just have to be helpful. This is something that you likely could have benefitted from and did benefit from at some point throughout your career. Developing your own tips based on experience that you have gained doesn’t take much and it can really help to make you a subject matter expert to those that need it. So while you could have used the help when you were starting off in your career, why not help somebody else in the same position. Take the time to recognize what’s worked for you and why your experiences may very well help somebody else in need of a bit of expertise.
