How do I keep my membership active?

You must have at least 3+ photos in your account within the 24 hours of your membership. Most people fill out their profile and portfolio after their registration. If you don't fill out bio and portfolio, your status will be inactive at which point you will have to re-activate your account. Click here to reactivate

If you are inactive or have NOT logged in within 1 year, its possible that your account could be marked as in-active.

How should I Upload my Images?

We recommend you upload images to your portfolio at 72 DPI and no larger than 400x600 portrait or 600x400 landscape. Images that are larger will be automatically reduced to fit our guidelines. Thumbnails are cropped NORTH BOUND (or the top of the picture).

What are the Image Terms?

Please note certain images may be removed without notice. Possible reasons for removal of images include:
* Offensive images or pornographic images
* Images flagged for removal on multiple occasions
* Images not-related to the modeling industry
* Copyrighted images or fake images
* Images of low-caliber or professionalism; this may include web cam photos, cell pics, grainy photos, personal snap shots, mirror pics, arms-length pics, or blurry photos.
* Your experience level should match your images. In essence, do not represent yourself as experienced or a professional if your images are not up to a professional standard.

Modelwink is geared towards people striving to be professional in nature or people that at least take their work seriously. We understand there are new models and photographers striving to create a portfolio and sometimes do not have high-end images or a professional portfolio. You are still allowed to upload images, but note that until you create a higher-end portfolio your account might be monitored and certain images may be removed if they do not meet the above guidelines. This is at the sole-discretion of modelwink.

Normally we try and avoid interfering in members profiles and portfolios. So keep it professional, clean, and industry related and you should be fine.

Are there Any Portfolio Requirements?

Your portfolio must show your face clearly if your a model. Photographers portfolios must contain adult human models. Children, landscapes, animals, cars, food, and architecture do not count and are subject for removal as they do not relate to our website. Please include a mixture of shots in your portfolio from full body shots to portrait/head-shots.

Is Pornography Allowed?

Pornography is absolutely NOT allowed on this website. This includes photos, links, or referances to such material in a portfolio. Artistic nudity is acceptable.

GWC: Guy With Camera. This is a user who purchased a camera in hopes of getting close to models, or getting models to pose nudes. We are striving to elimate as many of these users as possible.

TFP/TFCD: Time For Prints, Time For CD, Trade For Picture. This is a non-monetary exchange (non-paid) among usually a photographer and a model. The model and photographer spend time in order to better their portfolio. The model receives a CD of the pictures and the photographer gets a model to work with.
