It allows you to bring exposure to yourself and your work, from basic bio information, resume uploading, to portfolio management. Each one of the things that you upload should be professional in nature. We understand that there are different levels of ability however, certain guidelines still must be met.

Keeping a Positive Attitude

The modeling industry is exceptionally competitive, so be humble to the community. Remember that having the right look is part one, but the right attitude makes a world of difference.

Try to eliminate the ego-centric side of you, even if you are the most popular model in the world. Photographers, makeup artists, and other models themselves perfer to work with people that have a great attitude and personality, so be sure to make it your top priority as well.

When sending messages, introducing yourself, or presenting yourself in the forums, do it in a humble and polite manner.

Being Professional In Your Writing

Proper Grammer: In essence it is good to use proper grammer and spelling with complete sentences. You do not have to proof read everything you write, post, or comment, however please be sure that you use the spell checker at least with in your bio and resume.

Writing Shorthand: Try to avoid using short hand writings throughout the website. For example, take the time to write out "You" instead of using "U". Another example: "This website would B kewl 4 U" should be written as "This would would be cool for you." This includes making your profile in ALL caps, or alternating case-sensitivity within words.

Overusing HTML Tags Although we do allow you to use some HTML, over using it, over bolding, and making things too big is not necessary. For people who are interested in your profile, they will take the time to read it so there is no need to over-accentuate anything.

Nudity Guide

Understand that nudity is a common practice in the modeling industry, so if you are new to modeling address this issue in a respectable manner. It is unnecessary to write in all CAPS that "I DO NOT DO NUDITY!!!" This may degrade people who do pose nude, feels like its screaming due to the CAPS and exclamation points. Instead you are welcome to mark it in your profile under Settings: Nudity Settings. This is a neutral way of marking your profile regarding nudity.

If you feel the need to address it in your profile, you can write something like: "At the present moment I am not participating in work that involces nudity. Thanks for your understanding."

Remember that legitimate photographers will never ask you to pose nude. Unfortunately, there are always "guys with cameras" or perverts that will try to push you into things, for this reason strive to work with well reviewed professionals.
